Pavers offer more design flexibility - different colors, patterns, and shapes can be mixed to create a custom look. Poured concrete is more uniform, though stamped or stained concrete can add some visual variety at a lower cost than pavers.
If a paver cracks or settles, it can be individually replaced without disturbing the rest of the patio. Concrete is a single continuous slab, so a crack often means a visible repair or patch rather than a clean fix.
